Creativity

We are created in the image of God, and part of that reflection of our creator is our ability to be creative. I believe that in order to be creative, you have to be creative. I know that sounds like circular arguing, but in order to develop our ability to create, we have to create. Take a chance. Risk failure - just do it.

I will include items on the blog that reflect or enhance my creativity, as well as creative pursuits that don't easily fit into the major categories of knitting, papercrafting or photography. I may write posts about the process of creativity or my thoughts about it.

Bullet Journaling

One of the ways I am trying to stay organized is through bullet journaling. The supplies I use for are:
  • Leuchtturm 1917 hardbound notebook. My current one is A5, navy and dotted (I purchase mine from Amazon or Leuchtturm).  I have used the lined, but like the dotted better
  • I write with rollerball pens - a black and a blue Pentel Energel, 0.4
  • I do headers and other colorful writing with Staedtler Triplus fineliners. I have this set from Amazon.
  • I also use Tombow dual brush pens
  • Sometimes I include fountain pens
Fountain Pens

I enjoy collecting and using Fountain pens and that hobby will sometimes appear in the blog.
Digital Creativity

I enjoy expressing creativity through more technical means, including through the use of a few of the Adobe Creative Cloud programs: Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Lightroom. I use several of these for work and also for volunteer work, and am continuing to learn their ins and outs.

I maintain or help to maintain several websites, including the following:
