Photography

I love to take pictures. I'm not a pro - not by any stretch of the imagination. For me, photography is often a way to look for God. If I pay attention, I feel as if I will notice God - in creation, in people, in the world around me. If I carry a camera, and I look for pictures, then what I find is God in the world.

My cameras are:

iPhone camera - amazingly enough, this camera takes great pictures.  I used to always carry a dedicated camera, but with this in my "pocket," I don't always need it. I have an iPhone 13 Pro.

Nikon CoolPix P330 - This is a "point and shoot" camera, but it allows for manual adjustment of the shutter speed, aperture and ISO.  I often throw this one (not literally) in my bag.

Nikon D5100 - I bought this camera after our older son switched his major to graphic design and needed a camera. I gave him my old Nikon and bought this one.  I like it - it has always met my needs well. Lens:
  • Nikon DX 18-55 mm
  • Nikon DX 55-300 mm
  • Tamron 18-270 mm
I'll try to tag the posts that have images (beyond ones of knitting and papercrafting) with a photography tag.
