Foiling on Cards

 

For the past month, I've been using a laminator to do foiling on cards.  For these, I used pieces of acetate printed with toner along with foil.  I like the way they look.

Two Logos

My son graduated from Marshall University last May.  This August, he started at the University of Alabama.  He asked me to create a thank you card he could give to the professor at Marshall who recommended UA to him (and who went to graduate school at UA himself).  This is the beginning of it - hand drawn and watercolored logos from both schools.

I took this stamped image with me to Chicago in October.  It's a Penny Black stamp (Poppy Time).  I colored it with prismacolor markers (while in Chicago) and added highlights and splashes of gold water color paint.

I then left it in the room (as is) with my tip for housekeeping.
